Frequently Asked Questions
What will my out of pocket expenses be?
You will only be responsible for your standard copay and deductible.
For Medicare patients, your out-of-pocket costs, including any coinsurance payments, may vary depending on your supplemental insurance plan. Some supplemental plans cover these costs entirely, potentially eliminating your coinsurance payments after your deductible is met.
For patients with commercial insurance plans, you can generally find the different copay amounts on your insurance card. Copays may differ based on whether your plan considers your Miga clinician a primary care provider or a specialist.
How does Miga bill for services?
After claims have been fully reviewed by your insurance company (or insurance companies for patients with secondary or supplemental insurance), Miga will share details of any patient responsibility via email. The emails will come from support@migahealth.com. If you receive a notice directly from your insurance company this is most likely an explanation of benefits and not a bill.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for Miga’s services?
Yes, you may use your HSA or FSA to pay for any copays.
